Safety On Our Trails!
All riders of motorized vehicles must wear helmets. For good sound reasons, it is unlawful to operate an ATV or snow machine without proper headgear. Trauma to the head in a simple accident can cause lasting or fatal injuries that might otherwise be avoided by wearing a proper helmet.
Be aware of other users on the trail. This is a shared trail system so caution makes good sense, as a person will most likely encounter other users. We ask all drivers of motorized vehicles to shut off their engines and maintain a safe distance, allowing horse traffic to pass before continuing their ride.
Speeding contributes to unsafe situations. If you're driving a motorized vehicle we ask that you ride responsibly taking into consideration that other lives as well as your own are at stake. If you have an accident on the trail system it will take a long time for an emergency response team to reach a remote area. Help us to avoid this totally unnecessary situation.
